In addition to these modestly priced handcrafts, Mano a
Mano sells exquisite hand woven runners, wall hangings and
|

placements.
Weavers dye the wool of sheep, llama and alpaca with natural dyes obtained
from plants and insects to create traditional Andean double-weave motifs.
Seated on the ground, they tie their backstrap looms to a tree and spend up
to two months creating one weaving. The artists transmit the love of their
culture and environment through techniques that have been passed down
for generations.
