The Twin Cities International Citizens Award recognizes members of the Minnesota

 community who have made a significant  impact on communities across the world.

Segundo and Joan Velasquez received this award in 1999.

 

 

 

KARE 11's Eleven Who Care honors the contributions of  grassroots  volunteers

and promotes the spirit of volunteerism in our community.   Segundo and Joan Velasquez

were selected for this honor in 2001 and recognized during a live telecast.
